We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Support Specialist to join our team at Amicus Health Care Inc.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with Patient Care: Provide support with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, to ensure patients' comfort and well-being.
  • Accompany Patients: Escort patients on outdoor recreational activities, promoting socialization and physical activity.
  • Maintain a Safe Environment: Clean, sterilize, and set up medical equipment, ensuring a safe and hygienic environment for patients.
  • Administer First Aid: Respond to emergency situations and administer first aid as needed.
  • Transport Patients: Safely transport patients between care facilities, using wheelchairs or stretchers as required.
  • Support Patients' Exercise Routines: Supervise and assist patients with their exercise routines, promoting physical activity and mobility.
  • Manage Inventory: Maintain an accurate inventory of supplies, ensuring that necessary items are always available.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Willingness to train and learn.
  • Certifications: First Aid Certificate and CPR Certificate.
  • Personal Qualities: Client focus, dependability, flexibility, initiative, interpersonal awareness, organized, reliability, team player, and patience.
