Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Transportation Specialist to join our team at YEG MOVERS LTD. as a Truck Driver. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and materials across various locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transportation Operations: Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy, load and unload goods, and operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspection, oversee all aspects of vehicle, and perform preventive maintenance.
  • Record Keeping: Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
  • Cargo Security: Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo.
Requirements
  • Licenses and Certifications: Class 3/3F/DF Licence (trailer truck, vehicles with more than 3 axles) and Air Brake (Z) Endorsement.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Attention to detail, repetitive tasks, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Work Schedule: 32 hours per week.
