Truck Driver

At ROADIES SHUNT SERVICES LTD., we are seeking a skilled and experienced Truck Driver to join our team. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently from one location to another.
Key Responsibilities:- Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
- Plan or adjust routes based on changing conditions, using computer equipment, global positioning systems (GPS) equipment, or other navigation devices, to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions
- Load and unload goods
- Obtain special permits and other documents required to transport cargo on international routes
- Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment
- Perform brake adjustments
- Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
- Receive and relay information to central dispatch
- Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption
- Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo
- AZ class license
- Air Brakes Endorsement
- Work Term: Permanent
- Work Language: English
- Hours: 40 hours per week
