Job Summary

Koch Fertilizer, LLC is seeking a highly skilled Process Control Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of our process control systems.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Implement and maintain process control systems, including DCS and SIS, to ensure optimal plant performance.
  2. Develop and implement control strategies to improve process efficiency and reduce costs.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.
  4. Provide technical expertise and support to operations and maintenance teams.
  5. Ensure compliance with industry codes and standards, quality systems, and cyber security protocols.
  6. Participate in capital projects and reliability improvement initiatives.
  7. Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills of operations and maintenance teams.
Requirements
  1. Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation and Controls Engineering or a related field.
  2. At least ten years of experience in process control engineering, with a focus on DCS and SIS systems.
  3. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  4. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  5. Eligibility for registration as a Professional Engineer in the Province of Manitoba.
