Job Title: Head Cashier

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Cashier to join our team at Beach Corner Liquor. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing cash transactions, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Cash Handling: Manage cash transactions, including handling cash, operating a point-of-sale system, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Store Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including restocking shelves, sweeping and mopping floors, and performing other tasks as needed.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and coordinate the activities of sales floor associates, providing guidance and support as needed.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a retail environment.
  • Work Setting: Retail business.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
  • Attention to Detail: Maintain a high level of attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in cash handling and other tasks.
Personal Suitability:
  • Accurate: Demonstrate accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of the job.
Work Schedule:
  • Hours of Work: 30 hours per week.
  • Language of Work: English.
