Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Warehouse Operations Assistant to join our team at United Enterprize CHWK Ltd. As a key member of our warehouse team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and accurate movement of goods and materials within our facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and Maintain a Safe and Efficient Work Environment
    • Build pallets and ensure they are properly secured
    • Load, unload, and move products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment
    • Operate a variety of equipment to load, unload, and move materials and products
  • Accurately Process and Ship Orders
    • Ship orders in a timely and accurate manner
    • Pick orders and stock items as needed
  • Maintain Accurate Inventory Records
    • Weigh materials and goods as needed
    • Make labels and attach them to goods
    • Wrap goods and prepare them for shipping
    • Pack and unpack goods as needed
    • Sort, crate, and stack goods in a safe and efficient manner
    • Install, lash, and secure goods as needed
    • Store cargo and materials in a safe and organized manner
    • Transport and distribute materials and goods as needed
  • Work Safely and Efficiently
    • Organize and maintain inventory using computerized inventory control systems
    • Identify and report any hazardous products or storage issues
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a warehouse or related environment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
Language and Work Environment

English or French language proficiency is required. The work environment is a fast-paced warehouse setting with a variety of equipment and machinery. The successful candidate must be able to work safely and efficiently in this environment.
