About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Subway. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading a team of food service staff and ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, ensuring that inventory levels are adequate and that supplies are ordered as needed.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit reports on sales, inventory, and other relevant metrics, providing insights to management.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer complaints and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Training and Development: Provide training and development opportunities to staff, ensuring that they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their jobs effectively.
  • Recruitment: Recruit and select new staff members, ensuring that they are a good fit for the team and the company.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service or supervisory role is preferred.
  • Language: English is the primary language spoken in this role.
  • Work Setting: This role is based in a restaurant environment.
