About the Role

Graham, a leading construction solutions partner, is seeking a highly skilled Senior HSE Coordinator to lead safety initiatives on our project sites. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring a safe and healthy work environment for our employees, clients, and the general public.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead safety initiatives on project sites, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Conduct project-specific safety orientations for all workers and visitors.
  • Inspect equipment and report any non-compliant conditions to the responsible project Superintendent/Supervisor.
  • Assist in conducting BBS assessments and confirm that controlled products supplied to projects are accompanied by current SDS/MSDS documentation.
  • Attend and participate in HSE meetings, review incident reports, and maintain monthly statistics to identify undesirable trends.
  • Conduct project inspections with the project Superintendent and workers to support hazard identification.
  • Arrange or conduct HSE training for workers and Supervisors.
  • Interact with regulatory bodies and clients, taking a hands-on approach and acting as the point of contact.
  • Demonstrate HSE and Quality behaviors that reflect corporate expectations of Actively Caring and Road to Zero.
Requirements
  • High school graduation and completion of a diploma training program at a college or technical school.
  • Certification in Health and Safety, or a safety designation is an asset.
  • 2-3 years of experience in safety or a related field.
  • Understanding of how HSE MS systems work.
  • Understanding of general constructability.
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite and online reporting software.
