As a Chiropractor at UHN, you will play a vital role in empowering clients through your expertise in treating orthopedic conditions and chronic pain. Your hands-on skills will be essential in facilitating the rehabilitation and return-to-work processes for injured individuals. Experience or interest in hand therapy is advantageous. You will collaborate with clients and treatment teams to help clients achieve their maximum functional potential.
Qualifications
Essential Qualifications for a Chiropractor:
Doctor of Chiropractic Degree completion Registration with the College of Chiropractors of Ontario is mandatory At least one year of relevant experience in treating work-related injuries or motor vehicle accidents is preferred Strong foundation in evidence-based rehabilitation practices is requiredDesired Attributes for an UHN Clinician:
Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate initiative with sound judgment Familiarity with insurance reporting requirements and case management is beneficial A collaborative team player who can work independently and is committed to supporting clients with acute and chronic injuries Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and time management skillsAdditional Insights
