Building Maintenance Technician

CISSS du Bas-Saint-Laurent is in search of a dedicated full-time permanent technician specializing in building maintenance. In this position, you will be tasked with preparing and adhering to technical plans, specifications, and documentation related to plumbing, heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, and architectural designs. Your role will also encompass calculations, troubleshooting, drafting, and installation duties. This position may require travel within the designated region and occasionally beyond, while still remaining within the Bas-St-Laurent area. Furthermore, you will take part in a technical on-call rotation to support facility operations.

Required Qualifications

  • A college diploma in building mechanical technology, civil engineering technology, or a closely related discipline
  • A minimum of two years of relevant experience in similar positions within the last five years (preferred)
  • Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (preferred)
  • Competence in MS-Office applications and email communication
  • Successful completion of the sector-specific assessment in addition to the selection interview
  • A valid driver's license is mandatory
