Position Overview

The Grand Malabar Indian Cuisine Inc. is seeking a dedicated Culinary Specialist to join our dynamic kitchen team. This role is essential for ensuring the highest quality of food preparation and service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Meal Preparation: Create and cook a variety of complete meals and individual dishes, catering to diverse customer preferences.
  • Allergy Management: Prepare meals that accommodate customers with food allergies or dietary restrictions.
  • Kitchen Oversight: Conduct inspections of kitchens and food service areas to maintain hygiene and safety standards.
  • Staff Training: Educate kitchen staff on food preparation, cooking techniques, and safe food handling practices.
  • Supply Management: Order necessary supplies and equipment to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
  • Team Supervision: Oversee kitchen staff and assistants, ensuring efficient workflow.
  • Inventory Control: Maintain accurate records of food, supplies, and equipment inventory.
  • Sanitation: Ensure cleanliness of kitchen and work areas.
  • Event Coordination: Organize and manage buffets and banquets.
  • Operational Management: Oversee overall kitchen operations to ensure efficiency and quality.

Work Environment

Qualifications

  • Experience: A minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant culinary experience.
