About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Financial Technician to join our team at Maxi. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for providing administrative support and ensuring the smooth operation of our financial processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the finance team, including data entry, record-keeping, and reporting.
  • Assist with payroll and accounts payable duties, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Support the recruitment cycle of the hourly workforce, including job postings, interviews, and orientations.
  • Maintain employee databases to ensure accurate information.
  • Perform other office duties as assigned by the Store Manager.
Requirements
  • Familiarity with company systems is an asset.
  • Availability to work days and weekends.
  • Demonstrated teamwork and commitment to contributing to team results.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational abilities to manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, sometimes unpredictable environment.
