About the RoleWe are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Front Desk Hotel Clerk at Pinedale Inn. As a key member of our front office team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service and ensuring a smooth and efficient check-in and check-out process.
Key Responsibilities- Guest Registration: Register arriving guests and assign rooms in a timely and accurate manner.
- Group Arrivals and Departures: Process group arrivals and departures, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed and guests are aware of their room assignments and check-out procedures.
- Room Reservations: Take, cancel, and change room reservations as necessary, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
- Guest Information: Provide information on hotel facilities and services, as well as general information about points of interest in the area.
- Departure Processing: Process guests' departures, calculate charges, and receive payments in a professional and courteous manner.
- Cash Handling: Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Inventory Management: Maintain an inventory of vacancies, reservations, and room assignments to ensure efficient room allocation.
- Emergency Procedures: Follow emergency and safety procedures as outlined in our hotel's emergency plan.
- Communication: Answer telephone calls and relay messages to guests and staff in a professional and courteous manner.
- Special Needs: Assist clients/guests with special needs, ensuring their requirements are met and they have a positive experience at our hotel.
- Wake-Up Calls: Contact customers to deliver requested wake-up calls.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, responding to guest inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Attention to Detail: Maintain a high level of attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and precision in all aspects of the job.
- Client Focus: Demonstrate a strong client focus, prioritizing guest needs and ensuring their satisfaction.
