Job Overview

The Lead Technician role is ideal for individuals seeking seasonal employment who enjoy interacting with customers, delivering excellent service, working outdoors, and enhancing their sales and service abilities.

This position is vital to our operations at Grill Hero. As a Lead Technician, you will gain comprehensive knowledge of the barbecue industry by performing our cleaning services, facilitating customer interactions, managing your own supplies and equipment, and more.

Lead Technicians have the potential to advance into Management, Regional Management, and Office roles, which may come with salary increases and additional responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Cleaning barbecues at both commercial and residential sites
  • Providing exceptional customer service
  • Upselling products and additional services
  • Scheduling future appointments
  • Organizing and maintaining company supplies and equipment
  • Representing the company in the field
  • Additional tasks as assigned

Qualifications

  • Ability to perform physical labor and operate light machinery
  • Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Capable of understanding and executing verbal and written instructions
  • Strong attention to detail

Compensation

  • Starting at $18 + Tips + Incentives (Most earn $20-$25/hr)
  • Performance bonuses and incentives

  • Reimbursement for mileage incurred during operations on top of hourly pay

  • Full-time Seasonal Position

Requirements

  • Access to a vehicle for use during the summer (required for consideration for Team Leader roles)

Ideal candidates may have experience in general labor, landscaping, painting, roofing, maintenance, customer service, or similar fields.
