- Communicate with Dispatchers and Drivers: Effectively communicate with dispatchers and other drivers using two-way radio systems, ensuring seamless operations.
- Ensure Passenger Safety: Maintain control of student activities during travel, preventing distractions or behaviors that could compromise safety.
- Perform Vehicle Inspections: Conduct pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections, ensuring all aspects of the vehicle are in good working condition.
- Class 4/4F/F/4A-B-C Licence: Possess a valid Class 4/4F/F/4A-B-C Licence for ambulances, emergency vehicles, and buses with fewer than 24 passengers.
- Valid Driver's Licence: Hold a valid driver's licence.
- Vehicle Supplied by Employer: The vehicle will be supplied by the employer.
- Work Term: This is a permanent position.
- Work Language: English is the primary language of communication.
- Hours of Work: The work schedule is approximately 30 to 35 hours per week.
