The Physiotherapist reports to the Manager of Rehabilitation Services. The Physiotherapist assesses, diagnoses, and treats patients who present with actual or potential impairment, pain, functional limitations, or disabilities. The Physiotherapist may provide service in outpatient, inpatient, and community settings. The Physiotherapist educates and communicates with other healthcare disciplines, the general public, family members, and caregivers. The Physiotherapist provides supervision and evaluation of physiotherapy students and supervision of assistants. Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills are required. The successful applicant may be required to provide services anywhere within the Rehabilitation Services portfolio.
About YouWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Physiotherapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have:
- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Physiotherapy from an accredited university
- Membership with the Nova Scotia College of Physiotherapists
- BCLS
- Computer skills (statistics input, word processing)
- Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred

Hours- Permanent Full-time, 75 hours biweekly
The successful candidate will receive a competitive hourly rate of $42.89. In addition, they may be eligible for our benefits package, which includes health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage, as well as a defined benefit pension plan. The successful candidate may also be eligible for a signing bonus and relocation assistance with a defined Return of Service contract.
