This role is responsible for owning the Asset Protection function of Asset Management in Western Canada. The successful candidate will implement the Asset Management strategy to maximize asset productivity, asset recovery, and deliver CHEP's value proposition to the equipment dealer/recycler channels.
Key Responsibilities- Asset Recovery and Protection
- Engage with and monitor pallet recycler locations across Western Canada to ensure compliance with CHEP's asset ownership and property rights.
- Lead regional legal actions against entities that do not comply with CHEP's asset ownership and property rights.
- Engage with commercial accounts that are uncooperative while working within the CHEP model/pool.
- Asset Management and Reporting
- Maintain detailed records of all interactions, including pictures/drone footage of recycler locations that can be used in legal actions.
- Manage process for increasing collections at recyclers with cross-functional teams.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date account information and key contact information in Salesforce.
- Collaboration and Communication
- Collaborate with the Asset Management/Protection Team, Commercial Team, Legal, Operations, and Logistics to ensure effective asset management.
- Engage with customers, external legal counsel, and other Brambles organizations to ensure compliance with CHEP's asset ownership and property rights.
- Education and Experience
- University degree in Business or Supply Chain.
- Proven knowledge of Supply Chain/Logistics.
- Proven track record of success as part of a multi-level team.
- Skills and Knowledge
- Energetic, confident relationship builder, team player, decision maker, strategic & critical thinker, excellent communicator & organizer.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of CHEP's business model.
CHEP offers a competitive salary starting at $88,000 annually, as well as medical and retirement benefits.
