We are seeking a skilled Meat Cutter to join our team at Newmarket Meat Packers Limited. As a key member of our wholesale meat processing team, you will be responsible for cutting and preparing high-quality meats for sale.
Key Responsibilities- Clean and prepare meats for processing or cutting
- Cut and trim carcasses, sides, and quarters
- Cut, prepare, and package standard cuts of meat
- Remove bones from meat
- Weigh and package meats for sale
- Operate equipment such as band saws, manual cutting utensils, power grinders, and slicing machines
- 2 years of experience in a similar role
- Permanent employment
- English language proficiency
- Ability to work 40 hours per week
