Public Art Director

Calgary Arts Development is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Public Art Director to lead the development and implementation of our public art program. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of success in managing complex public art projects and will be able to inspire and motivate a team to deliver high-quality results.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement the public art program strategy and vision
- Lead a team of staff and contractors to deliver public art projects
- Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including artists, community groups, and city officials
- Manage budgets and resources to ensure successful project delivery
- Develop and implement evaluation and assessment strategies to measure program success
- Master's degree in a relevant field, such as art history, museum studies, or public administration
- Minimum 5 years of experience in public art management or a related field
- Proven track record of success in managing complex public art projects
- Excellent communication and project management skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
