ROLE OVERVIEW
The MAC Operations Team Leader plays a pivotal role in facilitating the planning and execution of tenant enhancements and facility moves, adds, or changes (MAC) initiatives. This position collaborates with internal BGIS personnel, clients, and external partners to ensure the effective and timely delivery of significant MAC projects. Success in this role hinges on a comprehensive understanding of furniture systems, interior design, materials, and finishes, alongside a solid grasp of project management methodologies, timelines, and financial parameters. A strong customer-centric approach is essential. As team members gain experience and enhance their communication skills regarding projects, they will be expected to lead discussions with clients based on their expertise in furniture systems and project outcomes.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinate and oversee MAC projects from inception to completion.
- Engage with clients to understand their needs and expectations.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure project success.
Essential Knowledge & Skills
- Proficient understanding of furniture systems and interior materials.
- Strong project management skills, including scheduling and budgeting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Licenses and Professional Development
- No specific licenses required.
- Interest in pursuing Project Management Institute Accreditation is encouraged.
