Job Description

Mathnasium Instructor

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Mathnasium Instructor to join our team. As a Mathnasium Instructor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality math education to students of all ages and skill levels.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop Rapport with Students: Establish a positive and supportive relationship with students, creating a fun and engaging learning environment.
  • Display Enthusiasm for Math: Demonstrate a genuine passion for math and a commitment to helping students understand and master mathematical concepts.
  • Supervise and Motivate Students: Provide guidance and support to students, encouraging them to reach their full potential and develop a love for math.
  • Evaluate and Document Student Progress: Regularly assess student progress, documenting achievements and areas for improvement.
  • Communicate with Center Director: Keep the Center Director informed of student needs and progress, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.

Requirements:

  • Elementary Specialist: Experience teaching or learning within the K-7 level.
  • British Columbia, Canadian Education System: Familiarity with the British Columbia, Canadian education system.
  • Passion for Teaching Kids: A genuine passion for teaching and helping children develop a love for math.
