Job Summary

The Winnipeg Football Club is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to oversee premium catering services for all events at the stadium. As Catering Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality food and customer service for our fans and guests.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the successful execution of catering events, including setup, operation, cleanup, and labor cost management.
  • Maintain a consistent presence on the floor by supervising and inspecting all aspects of event execution, including setup, food service, clearing, and cleanup.
  • Be a hands-on member of the catering team, ensuring that all events are executed to the highest standard.
  • Ensure assigned areas are fully stocked and ready for operation, adhering to inventory procedures.
  • Hire, train, schedule, and lead hourly catering staff for game days and other events at the stadium.
  • Ensure fan and guest expectations are met or exceeded at all times.
  • Support the Manager of Events & Catering in administrative duties, including scheduling, ordering, inventory, and other tasks as assigned.
  • Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage.
  • Complete all other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience in event/banquet catering, preferably with a management background.
  • Fan-first attitude and a track record of excellent customer service.
  • Valid Smart Choices and Food Handler certificates.
  • Proficiency in POS systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work extended and/or irregular hours (including nights, weekends, and holidays) as needed.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Organized.
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Self-starter.
