Position Overview:
As a Retail Sales Assistant at Canada Post, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional service to our customers. This position requires a strong focus on customer satisfaction and a commitment to excellence in service delivery.
- Promote and sell postal services and products to the community and businesses
- Efficiently manage the sorting, distribution, and processing of mail
- Assist customers by providing necessary information and forms
- Address and resolve any delivery or service-related issues in a timely manner
Qualifications:
- Completion of high school or equivalent experience in business administration
- Prior experience in retail sales and customer service is essential
- Basic understanding of accounting principles or postal operations is preferred
- Physical capability to lift mail containers weighing up to 50 lbs, maneuver boxes, and stand for extended periods
- Willingness to work on an on-call basis as needed
Additional Details:
This recruitment is for multiple positions available at various post offices. Preference will be given to candidates residing within the local community.
All candidates will be required to undergo a security screening as part of the hiring process.
