About the Role

Bombardier Transportation GmbH is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Aircraft Commander to join our team. As a key member of our flight operations team, you will be responsible for conducting production ground and flight tests to validate the airworthiness of our aircraft.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct production ground and flight tests to validate the airworthiness of the aircraft.
  • Conduct demonstration flights to potential customers.
  • Conduct Customer Acceptance flights.
  • Conduct Ferry flights.
  • Carry out pre and post-flight activities.
  • May be required to support the weekend schedule for extended periods.
  • May be required to support the Bombardier Flight Test Center.
  • May be required to carry out manual and other documentation review.
Requirements
  • Hold a valid Canadian ATPL and a Class 1 medical.
  • A minimum of 3,500 hours of total flight time with 500 hours PIC on large multi-engine aircraft.
  • Flexibility to work irregular hours and to travel on short notice.
  • Previous flight test experience or a strong technical background in certification or training is a definite asset.
  • A US ATP is an asset.
  • The right to work and live in Canada is required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work with a team.
