Position Overview

The role of the Accountant/Bookkeeper encompasses a wide range of accounting responsibilities for a portfolio of properties. Key duties include:

  1. Cash Management: Overseeing the inflow and outflow of funds.
  2. Bank Reconciliation: Ensuring accuracy between bank statements and internal records.
  3. Accounts Management: Handling both receivables and payables efficiently.
  4. Journal Entries: Preparing entries and conducting variance analysis to assess performance against budgets.
  5. Collaboration: Working closely with operations staff to gather necessary information.
  6. GST Remittances: Preparing tax submissions and other relevant reports.
