Position Overview

North Lake Enterprises LTD is seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electrical and mechanical systems, demonstrating expertise in troubleshooting and repair.

Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years in a similar role
Work Environment

This position will involve working at various locations, providing a diverse range of challenges and experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret blueprints to ascertain work requirements
  • Assess and monitor electrical and mechanical conditions of equipment
  • Diagnose and rectify issues with electric motors, transformers, switchgear, generators, and other electro-mechanical apparatus
  • Utilize machining tools for the fabrication or refurbishment of parts
  • Replace or refurbish shafts, bearings, commutators, and other components as necessary
  • Weld or braze components to ensure structural integrity
  • Conduct static or dynamic balancing of armatures or rotors
  • Perform on-site servicing and repairs
  • Test and repair or substitute faulty wiring or components in electrical switchgear
  • Evaluate repaired motors, transformers, switchgear, or other electrical devices to confirm optimal performance
