About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Scientist to join our team at The Global Circle Club Ltd. As a Senior Data Scientist, you will play a critical role in advancing our data-first approach to managing risk by surfacing key metrics, building automated reporting, diving into complex data questions, and enhancing our data infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Derive data insights and partner with risk, compliance, engineering, product, and design to inform how we understand and mitigate financial, regulatory, and reputational risk.
  • Work on projects end-to-end and build expertise in Data Science and Risk.
  • Own and manage core risk business and operational metrics and data.
  • Build observability for our internal operations and risk controls efficacy through analytical deep dives and key metric dashboards.
  • Respond to ad hoc data requests from Risk and cross-functional partners.
  • Partner with stakeholders to identify impactful business questions and communicate findings to inform data-driven decisions.
  • Analyze historical data to identify trends and inform risk mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate with Data Scientists and Data Engineers to improve data pipelines and ensure data integrity.
  • Leverage data models and analytics techniques to design long-term solutions.
Requirements
  • 4+ years of experience analyzing large datasets, with 2+ years in risk.
  • Fluency in SQL and experience with data visualization tools.
  • Organized and communicative, able to prioritize and manage projects.
  • Fluency in additional programming languages (e.g. Python, R).
  • Experience building scalable data pipelines and ETL processes.
