Asset Manager

We are seeking an experienced Asset Manager to oversee the daily servicing, inspection, cleaning, maintenance, repair, and capital work for the Edmonton TransEd OMJV project. The successful candidate will ensure the highest quality of workmanship, fleet, system, and infrastructure safety, reliability, and availability.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and direct assigned asset maintenance staff to ensure the Supervisory staff and Technical staff have the necessary qualifications, tools, and direction to deliver expected results.
- Ensure all work is performed in full compliance with contractual and regulatory obligations.
- Monitor material lead times and consumption to ensure service is protected and maintained.
- Develop and implement maintenance plans to ensure fleet and system availability expectations and standards are met.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and coordination.
- Graduation from an accredited College or University with a Bachelor's degree in Business or equivalent.
- A minimum of ten years relevant experience managing large complex asset management projects, preferably in the light rail system asset maintenance sector.
- Proven experience in leading maintenance staff and activities on LRV equipment.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and team building attributes.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret complex contract deliverables.
