We are seeking a skilled Culinary Specialist to join our team at Sushi Jet Larry Uteck. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods, ensuring exceptional quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook special meals for patients as instructed by dietitian or chef
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food to ensure consistency and quality
  • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure efficient and safe food preparation
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment to optimize kitchen operations
  • Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment
Culinary Skills

As a Culinary Specialist, you will have the opportunity to develop and refine your culinary skills, including sushi preparation techniques, Japanese cuisine, and Szechuan cooking methods. You will work under pressure to meet demanding kitchen schedules and deadlines.

Requirements
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Permanent employment with a competitive salary and benefits package
  • 35 to 40 hours per week, with flexibility to work varied shifts
  • English language proficiency
