Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Gas Fitter-Installer to join our team at Manpower Services Canada Limit. As a Gas Fitter-Installer, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing gas lines and equipment in various commercial and residential settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation and Maintenance: Install and maintain meters and regulators, gas lines between gas units and gas meters, and other gas-related equipment.
  • Repair and Service: Repair and service gas appliances and related equipment, including testing and adjusting control mechanisms and checking pipes and piping connections for gas leaks.
  • Client Communication: Advise clients on standards, safety features, and maintenance of gas units and systems.
  • Estimation and Planning: Estimate costs and materials for gas-related projects and prepare tenders and quotations.
  • Propane and Natural Gas Filling Stations: Install and service propane and natural gas filling stations.
Requirements
  • Certifications and Licenses: Hold a Gas Fitter Certificate - Level 2 or B.
  • Security and Safety: Pass a criminal record check.
  • Transportation and Travel: Possess a valid driver's license.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, and be physically demanding, with attention to detail and ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Personal Suitability: Demonstrate accurate, client-focused, excellent oral and written communication, judgement, and teamwork skills.
