About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Roofing Specialist to join our team at RAJ BAINS ROOFING LTD. As a Roofing Specialist, you will be responsible for installing and repairing various types of roofing systems, including built-up roofing systems, asphalt shingles, and metal roofs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and repair roofing systems using various materials and techniques, including asphalt saturated felts, hot asphalt, and gravel.
  • Install or replace asphalt shingles, wood shingles and shakes, and masonry or baked clay roofing tiles on sloped roofs of buildings.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Estimate costs and materials for roofing projects, taking into account factors such as labor costs, material costs, and project timelines.
  • Work safely and efficiently, adhering to all relevant safety protocols and regulations.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in roofing or a related field
  • Physical Demands: Fast-paced environment, physically demanding, bending, crouching, kneeling, hand-eye coordination, handling heavy loads, repetitive tasks, and working under pressure.
  • Language: English
  • Work Schedule: 35 hours per week
