Work Details

  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years or equivalent experience
Work Environment

The role involves working in various settings, including:

Work Setting

Our projects span across multiple sectors, including:

  • Renovation
  • Commercial and industrial projects

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Interpreting blueprints and sketches to ascertain work requirements
  • Preparing layouts in compliance with building codes
  • Measuring, cutting, shaping, and assembling materials
  • Constructing foundations and erecting wall and roof systems
  • Installing windows, doors, stairs, and other fixtures
  • Surveying building locations and levels
  • Instructing apprentices
  • Maintaining and renovating wooden structures
Supervision

This position may involve supervising 1 to 2 individuals.

Qualifications

Applicants should possess:

  • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
  • Construction Safety Training Systems (CSTS) Certificate
Skills and Attributes

The ideal candidate will demonstrate:

  • Ability to handle physical demands, including bending and lifting
