Position Overview

The successful candidate will serve as a vital link between partners and clients, responsible for reviewing client files, providing expert guidance, and leading complex projects. This role reports directly to the respective partners and offers the opportunity to mentor junior and intermediate accountants within the Senior Accounting team.

This position is ideal for an individual who values exceptional customer service and is eager to collaborate with partners to support a diverse client base. A strong sense of accountability and initiative is crucial for success in this fast-paced professional services environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Overseeing the preparation of financial statements for business clients, reviewing the work of staff accountants, and handling complex aspects of files;
  • Ensuring high-quality control by supervising Compilation and Review Engagements;
  • Reviewing Corporate, Personal, and Trust income tax returns along with other tax documentation;
  • Identifying and rectifying discrepancies in financial records and reports;
  • Providing recommendations based on financial analysis and status of reserves, assets, and expenditures;
  • Conducting technical research and formulating tax planning strategies for individuals and corporations;
  • Assisting in the execution of corporate reorganizations;
  • Managing the organization and prioritization of staff accountants' work, including engagement costs and billing;
  • Mentoring and fostering the professional growth of staff accountants;
  • Managing a portfolio of clients, ensuring their needs are met and fostering relationship growth;
  • Contributing innovative ideas and approaches to enhance work processes.
