**Job Summary**

Segula Technologies is seeking a skilled Aircraft Painter to join our team in Montreal, QC. As an Aircraft Painter, you will be responsible for performing all aircraft paintwork, including surface preparation, painting, and coating.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Surface Preparation: Ensure proper paint adhesion by stripping, sanding, polishing, masking, cleaning, coating, and priming aircraft surfaces.
  • Painting Expertise: Familiarity with different types of paints, primers, and coatings used in the aerospace industry, including epoxy, polyurethane, and other specialized coatings.
  • Painting Techniques: Perform stenciling, ink stamping, spray painting, electrostatic painting, and HVLP (High Volume Low Pressure) spraying.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Set up and maintain painting equipment in good operating condition.
  • Paint Application: Apply paint evenly and accurately using spray guns, brushes, and rollers.

Requirements:

  • Education: Diploma of professional/technical studies in aeronautical/industrial painting or equivalent.
  • Experience: Minimum 1-3 years of experience in aeronautical painting or relevant experience in automotive or industrial painting.
  • Painting Methods: Knowledge of various painting methods, including spray painting, HVLP spraying, and electrostatic painting.
  • Quality Control: Ability to inspect work for imperfections and ensure that the finished product meets strict quality standards.
  • Collaboration: Collaboration skills to work efficiently with other professionals in the aviation field.
  • Communication: Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and understand project requirements.
  • Health and Safety: Respect health, safety regulations, and procedures, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and handling hazardous materials.

Additional Requirements:

  • Authorization: Must be authorized to work in Canada.
  • Relocation: Employees who need to relocate for the role may receive initial relocation assistance.
