We are seeking a Field/Methods Engineer (M/F) for a prominent client with the following details:

Location: Rainville (France)

Languages Required: English and fluent French

Required Knowledge:

  • Degree in general engineering or mechanical engineering
  • Familiarity with the oil and gas and industrial sectors
  • English proficiency: reading, speaking, writing at level B2
  • French proficiency: reading, speaking, writing at level C1
  • Proficiency in software such as MS Office, MS Project, and SolidWorks is advantageous

  • On-site experience in onshore/offshore environments is beneficial

Mission Objectives:

  • Preparation of equipment for the manufacturing of pipe-in-pipes and offshore applications
  • Defining specifications for the execution team based on contract requirements
  • Updating risk assessments and related project documentation
  • Drafting and finalizing work instructions, including risk assessments
  • Engaging with clients to ensure seamless integration of equipment
  • Coordinating the project team responsible for execution
  • Creating detailed packing lists, spare parts, and maintenance plans
  • Managing logistics and export of equipment for efficient material return
  • Providing accurate reports on work progress, challenges, and opportunities

Testing and Qualification:

  • Organizing and overseeing equipment tests
  • Drafting procedures and FAT reports
  • Supporting the creation of quality control documentation
  • Facilitating testing in collaboration with project management
  • Participating in tests at client or supplier locations
  • Reporting on work progress, challenges, and opportunities

Qualification Operations:

  • Drafting qualification plans for operators in vacuum sealing processes
  • Participating in training for vacuum sealing, covering all steps

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring safety and quality standards at client sites
  • Implementing procedures developed during spooling phases
  • Providing daily progress reports

This role is based in Rainville, with the possibility of remote work options. Travel may be required for supplier visits and client engagements.
