Job Title: Anesthesiologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Anesthesiologist to join our team at The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids). As a key member of our surgical team, you will be responsible for providing anesthesia services to patients undergoing various medical procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct medical research on human disorders, illnesses, and preventive or curative methods
  • Prepare research papers for publication and presentation
  • Study the nature, cause, and development of diseases and the structural and functional changes caused by diseases
  • Supervise laboratory activities
  • Order laboratory tests, X-rays, and other diagnostic procedures
Requirements:
  • Degree in medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine, or optometry
  • 5 years or more of experience
  • Working groups supervision
  • Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada Certification Examination
  • Licensure by provincial or territorial authorities
Work Environment:

Our hospital is a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, and you will be working under pressure. You will be required to stand for extended periods, walk, and perform repetitive tasks. You must be able to distinguish between colors and have manual dexterity.
