About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team at Gryphon Corporate Group Ltd. As an Accounting Clerk, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial records and ensuring the accuracy of financial transactions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial records.
  • Payroll Processing: Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, ensuring timely and accurate payment to employees.
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare and maintain general ledgers and financial statements, providing insights into the company's financial performance.
  • Tax Compliance: Prepare tax returns and ensure compliance with all tax regulations.
  • Account Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts and ensure accuracy of financial transactions.
  • Financial Analysis: Record and balance daily transactions, providing financial analysis and insights to support business decisions.
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
  • Skills: Proficiency in Simply Accounting, excellent oral and written communication skills, and ability to work accurately and efficiently in a team environment.
