Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Machine Fitter to join our team at TECHPRO INDUSTRIES INC. as a key member of our production team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble and fit prefabricated metal parts to build heavy industrial machinery, ensuring precision and quality.
  • Read and interpret blueprints to determine work requirements and ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Move and align subassemblies and components, utilizing manual dexterity and attention to detail.
  • Install major components, such as gears, pumps, motors, or hydraulic assemblies, with a focus on efficiency and safety.
  • Inspect finished products for conformance to quality standards, identifying and addressing any defects or issues.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Permanent employment with a 32 to 35 hour workweek.
  • English language proficiency.
Working Conditions
  • Handling heavy loads and standing for extended periods.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
