Millwright Technician

We are seeking a skilled Millwright Technician to join our team at Posi-Plus Technologies inc. as a Machine Repair Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing machinery and equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

• Machinery Installation: Install new machinery and equipment, ensuring proper alignment and calibration.
• Repair and Maintenance: Troubleshoot and repair defective machinery parts, using hand tools and power tools as needed.
• Quality Control: Inspect machinery and equipment to ensure they meet quality and safety standards.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities, including parts used and labor hours.

• Education: Other trades certificate or diploma.
• Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years or equivalent experience in a related field.
• Skills: Strong knowledge of machinery and equipment, including hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications.
• Equipment and Machinery Experience: Experience with hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, pumps, and compressors.
• Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to stand for extended periods, with attention to detail and physical stamina.
• Own Tools/Equipment: Possession of steel-toed safety boots, safety glasses/goggles, and hand tools.
• Personal Suitability: Team player with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
