Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Building Manager to join our team at Tribe Management. As a Building Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of a 12-unit residential apartment located in Brooks, Alberta.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage all administrative tasks related to the property, including move-in/move-out processes, vendor arrangements, and maintenance coordination.
  • Ensure the property maintains a high standard of professionalism by working cooperatively with onsite staff.
  • Handle financial transactions, including bank deposits and purchase orders.
  • Perform minor repairs, including plumbing and landscaping tasks.
  • Prepare detailed incident reports and respond to emergencies on a 24-hour on-call basis.
  • Maintain accurate tenant files and collect rents.
Requirements:
  • 2-3 years of experience in caretaking and/or building maintenance.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Computer proficiency and ability to learn new software.
  • Able to take direction and work well with minimal supervision.
  • Working knowledge of the Residential Tenancy Act is an asset.
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license and own vehicle preferred.
