Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and caring individual to join our team as an Early Childhood Education Assistant at Sunrise Montessori School. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in supporting the daily operations of our educational programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in Program Implementation: Collaborate with early childhood educators to design and implement programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Supply Management: Order and manage supplies and equipment to ensure a safe and conducive learning environment.
  • Engagement and Activities: Engage children in activities that foster their growth and development, including storytelling, teaching songs, and preparing crafts.
  • Personal Care and Hygiene: Guide and assist children in developing proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits.
  • Meal and Rest Periods: Prepare snacks and arrange rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods to ensure a smooth and efficient daily routine.
  • Staff Meetings and Communication: Attend staff meetings to discuss progress and problems of children, ensuring open communication and collaboration among team members.
  • Work Term and Hours: This is a permanent position, requiring 35 to 40 hours of work per week.
  • Language and Work Environment: The primary language of work is English, and the work environment is a dynamic and supportive team setting.
