We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Custodian to join our team at School District No. 57 (Prince George). As a Custodian, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our schools, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for students and staff.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain the cleanliness of classrooms, hallways, and other school areas
- Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and dusting
- Operate heavy cleaning equipment, such as floor polishers and vacuum cleaners
- Restock supplies and materials as needed
- Assist with special events and projects as required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Building Maintenance Certificate or 6 months of experience in a related field
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
