Long Haul Truck Driver

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team at Black River Logistics ltd. As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods across the country, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:- Drive Safely: Operate a tractor-trailer combination to transport goods across the country, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Load and Unload Goods: Load and unload goods at designated locations, ensuring accurate and efficient handling.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
- Communication: Receive and relay information to central dispatch, ensuring timely updates on delivery status.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: Will train.
- Certifications: Driver's License (Class 1 or A).
As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you will be working in a fast-paced environment, often away from home for extended periods. You will be required to work in a team environment, communicating effectively with dispatch and other drivers.
