Kitchen Assistant

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Kitchen Helper to join our team at Mogouyan Hand Pulled Noodle. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our food preparation and service areas.
Key Responsibilities- Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Scour pots and pans to ensure they are spotless and ready for use.
- Keep accurate records of food quantities used, supporting our inventory management and ordering processes.
- Package take-out food with care and attention to detail, ensuring a positive customer experience.
- Use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs, following established procedures and guidelines.
- Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas, maintaining a well-organized and efficient kitchen environment.
- Remove kitchen garbage and trash, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Sharpen kitchen knives to maintain their effectiveness and prevent accidents.
- Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit, preparing them for use in our menu items.
This is a permanent position, working 30-40 hours per week. The successful candidate will be required to work in an urban area, with a focus on providing excellent customer service and supporting the smooth operation of our kitchen.
The working language for this role is English.
