About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Executive Housekeeping Manager to join our team at Howard Johnson Grande Prairie. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and maintenance in our hotel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of housekeeping supervisors and crews to ensure efficient and effective cleaning operations.
    • Provide guidance and support to housekeeping staff to ensure they have the necessary resources and training to perform their duties.
  • Quality Control
    • Conduct regular inspections of assigned areas to ensure that high standards of cleanliness and maintenance are met.
    • Identify and address any issues or concerns related to housekeeping operations.
  • Inventory Management
    • Manage the inventory of supplies, equipment, and uniforms to ensure that housekeeping staff have the necessary resources to perform their duties.
    • Monitor and control inventory levels to prevent waste and ensure cost-effectiveness.
  • Scheduling and Staff Management
    • Schedule and assign duties of housekeeping staff to ensure that all areas of the hotel are cleaned and maintained to the highest standards.
    • Monitor and evaluate the performance of housekeeping staff to ensure that they are meeting the required standards.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a housekeeping or facilities management role.
  • Language
    • English language proficiency.
