Job Title: Bookkeeper

At Exit New Westminster, we are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and other accounting documents.
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Accounting Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting standards, laws, and regulations.
  • Payroll and Benefits: Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, maintain employee benefits records, and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities for cost savings.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
  • Skills: Strong organizational and analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
Work Environment:

As a Bookkeeper at Exit New Westminster, you will work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. You will be required to work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines and achieve goals.

Language:

The primary language of work is English.

Hours of Work:

40 hours per week.
