We are seeking a skilled Glazier to join our team at 2484167 ONTARIO INC. as a permanent employee. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing and repairing glass and other materials in various settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Measure, mark, and cut glass to precise specifications
  • Assemble and install prefabricated glass, mirrors, or glass products
  • Install door, window, and other hardware
  • Supervise other workers and instruct apprentices
  • Estimate costs and materials for projects
  • Work at heights, on scaffolding, or swing stages
  • Transport cases of glass and other materials
Requirements
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in the trade
  • Other trades certificate or diploma
  • Member of the International Union of Painters and Allied Trades (IUPAT)
  • Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB) clearance Certificate
  • Occupational Health and Safety Certificate
  • First Aid Certificate

Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in an industrial setting, installing glass and other materials in various locations. The work will involve working at heights, on scaffolding, or swing stages, and transporting cases of glass and other materials.
