Fiber Optic Cable Technician

We are seeking a skilled Fiber Optic Cable Assembler to join our team at our Markham Ontario office. As a key member of our production department, you will be responsible for manufacturing high-quality fiber optic cable assemblies.
Key Responsibilities:- Measure and cut cables to precise lengths
- Terminate connectors to fiber cables with accuracy
- Polish, test, and inspect cable assemblies to ensure quality
- Verify that orders are complete and accurate
- Work in a fast-paced production environment with tight deadlines
- Attention to detail and ability to distinguish between colors
- Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods
- Reading and understanding technical documentation
- Using computer software, including Windows, Word, and Excel
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous experience in a related field is an asset
