We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Accountant to join our team at Fitness World. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for administering all financial transactions, from deposits to payments. Your attention to detail and ability to streamline processes will be essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our financial functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and manage full-cycle accounts payable, ensuring timely payments and accurate reconciliations.
- Identify cost-saving initiatives and implement process improvements to enhance financial efficiency.
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and account schedules, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial policies.
- Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual closings processes, working closely with the accounting team to meet financial close deadlines.
- Reconcile accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
- Report on the company's health and liquidity, providing valuable insights to inform business decisions.
- Audit financial transactions and documents, ensuring compliance with financial policies and regulations.
- Comply with financial policies and regulations, maintaining confidentiality and integrity of financial data.
- Additional duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
- BA and/or MA in Accounting or related field.
- Working towards a professional qualification (e.g., CPA or CFA designations).
- Previous experience as a Financial Accountant, preferably in a multi-unit environment.
- Advanced Excel user with extensive understanding of accounting principles and KPIs.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
