Pharmacy Assistant Role

We're seeking a talented individual to join our pharmacy team as a Pharmacy Assistant. In this exciting role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and supporting our pharmacists in delivering high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Verify patient information and accuracy of prescriptions prior to filling
  • Enter patient care information into our system
  • Process third-party adjudications as needed
  • Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently
  • Maintain pharmacy stock levels through inventory control systems
  • Provide general OTC advice to patients and refer to pharmacists as necessary
  • Handle customer prescription pick-ups
Requirements:
  • Experience as a Pharmacy Assistant is an asset
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills
  • Demonstrated customer service experience
  • Proficient computer and data entry skills
  • Flexibility to work a variety of hours, including days, evenings, nights, and weekends
